Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Order Book War app for Android and the website orderbookwar.com, including the browser version of the game (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. The Service
Order Book War shows the live order book of a cryptocurrency exchange as a battle between bulls (buyers) and bears (sellers). The Service is free, has no accounts and no ads. It does not let you trade, deposit, withdraw or hold any money or assets.
2. Not financial advice
The Service is for entertainment and information only. Nothing in it — including the visualization, the levels and targets you set in the game, the guessing game, statistics and the guides on this website — is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Trading cryptocurrencies is risky and you can lose all your money. Any decision you make is your own and at your own risk. If you need advice, please consult a licensed professional.
3. Market data and accuracy
The Service displays public market data loaded from Binance public APIs: order books, trades and prices. The data may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted or inaccurate. The visualization is a simplified, interpretive picture of it: for example, whether an order was cancelled (a “ghost”) is inferred from changes in the order book and may be wrong. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of anything shown.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Binance or any other exchange. All names and trademarks belong to their owners.
4. Your use of the Service
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- copy, modify, sell, rent or redistribute the Service or its content, except as permitted by law or by these Terms;
- reverse engineer, decompile or extract the code, artwork or audio of the Service, except to the extent that the law allows it despite this restriction;
- scrape, overload or disrupt the Service or the third-party servers it connects to, or access it with bots or other automated means;
- circumvent any technical limit or security measure;
- use the Service for anything unlawful or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its code, artwork, characters, music, sound effects, texts and the Order Book War name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms give you no rights in it other than the licence in section 4. Third-party components are used under their own licences.
6. Third-party services and stores
The Service relies on third parties such as Binance public APIs, Google Play, Google Analytics and Firebase. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability or conduct. If you get the app from Google Play or another app store, that store’s terms also apply to you, and the store provider has no obligation to support the app.
We publish videos of the Service on our YouTube channel using YouTube API Services. By watching or interacting with this content on YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using the Service you acknowledge it.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice: for example, to add features, fix bugs, or because a data source stops being available. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or funds, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any trading or investment decision made on the basis of it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.
11. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app or leaving the website. We may restrict or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or other people.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
